Micah's Backpack, Jacksonville addresses food insecurity in local schools
Micah's Backpack Jacksonville provides direct food assistance to
children from low-income families.
By the end of 2023, Micah's volunteers packed weekend food for over 300
children in 11 Jacksonville, Florida elementary schools.
In August 2023 Micah's volunteers began the school year by packing for 162 children and each week school counselors identified more children in need of weekend food and more backpacks were filled.
Our goal this school year is to Help 300 Kids in 2023.
